Only 2 weeks for a Windows Shell that copy the Chrome OS...

ChromeShell

ChromeShell is a non-google affiliated replacement shell for windows that strips your desktop down to what you really need; the browser. The shell creates a user experience similar to that of the unreleased Google Chrome OS.
ChromeShell gets from standby to my email <3 seconds on my quadcore machine and around 32 seconds from cold boot!
The shell is currently in BETA (however testing shows it to be quite stable). In the future, a nicer installation method will be employed and many extra features (to mimic those available to you in Chrome OS).
If you like the shell, have any bugs to report or feature requests, you can contact me in the comments section of the ChromeShell ITBR page or at samuel.ecwilliams@googlemail.com
REQUIREMENTS:
- Google Chrome
- Windows NT 4.0 and up

The default ChromeShell 'Desktop'

That means that in a few weeks we will have tons of Windows Shell that emulate Firefox, Chrome, IE...
